UV Sterilization – Add a small UV bulb into the adapter to sterilize the underside of the mask.
Improve airflow – Larger opening? Is there a small, inexpensive air pump. I’ve tested battery powered fish tank blowers, but they tend to be weak. If you can get one that’s a closed loop, you can have one tube take out CO2 while another adds air to keep the pressure stable.
Add Exhale Protection – The current design allows the wearer’s CO2 to exhale through a one-way valve. If the wearer has an infection, it could be released.
